First and foremost, we have been overwhelmed and highly impressed by the depth of analysis and the efforts the teams have put in playing Nautica.

Your continued enthusiastic response is what has made Nautica such a great success.

We look forward to similar response as Nautica gets on to the final stages and the competition for being in the top slot heats up.

 

Please note that we have uploaded the results based on the ‘cash in hand’ till the end of Season 3 @ http://nauticav20.blogspot.com. The results reflect only the cash in hand and do not take into account the assets held. The overall results will be declared only at the end of Season 5. Approximately 200 teams have survived the wrath of the oceans till the end of season 3.

 

A point of caution: After logging in into a new season, do check your previous season’s sales and quantities bought. It has been observed that some teams have encountered connectivity problems because of which data doesn’t get downloaded from the server completely (the trade book shows ‘0’ or ‘undefined’ sales values). Please log off and login again into the application is such case.

Entering decisions and pressing ‘Set Sail’ for present season  when the market shares of last season have not been populated will result in disqualification.

Urgent News !

Hi Sailors,

So game Nautica hit a difficult storm en route, but all is well now and you can resume your journey!

Yesterday, some issues of financial reporting and procurement were brought to our notice. These issues have been sorted out now and you shall see accurate figures once you login next.

It has been observed that teams have found it problematic to submit decisions by midnight deadline. Hence we are modifying the schedule for following seasons

Season 3  : Starts at 20:00 Hrs, Dec 10 – Ends at 06:00 Hrs, Dec 11

Season 4  : Starts at 12:00 Hrs (Noon), Dec 11 – Ends at 06:00 Hrs, Dec 12

Season 5  : Starts at 12:00 Hrs (Noon), Dec 12 – Ends at 06:00 Hrs, Dec 13

Result       : 13^th Evening

We request the teams to ensure submissions before 6 :00 Hrs every morning. Also, once you press "Set Sail", you should get a confirmation from the server saying "Your decisions have been submitted". If not, please try to login again and submit your decisions. Internet connectivity is of prime importance during login and submission, please ensure the same.

Kindly, note the "Set Sail" button would be replaced by "Submit" button in Season 5.

Also, another issue was reported earlier that some teams have bought the market information (empty report) in season 2. It was mentioned in the game document that this would only be available in season 3. However, the teams shall not be penalized for this. Those teams which have been charged for this report, please mail back at imperium08.nautica@gmail.com

Relative results shall be declared for season 3 on Dec 11 (evening) on Nautica blog http://nauticav20.blogspot.com. However, teams should note that this result shall be based on the cash in hand only and the assets held will not be taken into account. Therefore a low score in season 3 may not actually mean a low score in the final season.
